Types of cameras

      1.   Dome cameras
            This is a compact camera which obtained its name from its shape. You benefit from its discrete, non-             obtrusive design, and also from the fact that it is difficult to see in which direction the camera is pointing.

      2.   Bullet cameras
            This is a camera which obtained its name from its shape. Best application is for small spaces due to the             limited fixed focal length lens. The main advantage of bullet cameras over dome cameras are their low cost             and small size. Although they have a low cost and are very small, they still provide excellent picture quality             and video recording.

Camera Features

      1.   Motion Detection
            Cameras with motion detection have the ability to detect when there is movement around the camera             through the use of motion sensors. Depending on the camera this feature can be used to perform             automatic recording when motion is detected or to send an email notification in the form of an alert.

      2.   Night Vision
            Cameras with night vision have the ability to allow you to see in total darkness. Night vision cameras come             with either a black and white or color picture. Color night vision cameras switch automatically to black and             white at night to provide the best picture. This camera is best for areas with little to no lights.

      3.   Pan, Tilt and Zoom (PTZ)
            Cameras with PTZ have the ability to pan, tilt and zoom. This feature gives you the ability to use the camera             to follow a person or object whilst sitting in the comfort of one location.
